We went to Sunway University for High Tea
Net Onboard was honoured to be invited to the Sunway Employer Appreciation High-Tea. It took place on the 9th October 2019, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sunway University.
We arrived at around 2:30 in the afternoon. After registration and a welcoming drink, we listened to various speeches. We have speeches from Sunway Education Group’s CEO DR Elizabeth Lee, Leaderonomic’s Founder & CEO Mr Roshan Thiran and lastly, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Graeme Wilkinson. Their speeches were inspiring because it gave us quite a handful of insights on multiple aspects such as education and workforce.
After that, the organizers welcomed employers on stage to received a token of appreciation for participating. Our MD Mr Lee represented Net Onboard in collecting the token.
After a group photo session, we proceed to the high-tea session. They serve us with delicious cake and tea. During this time, we were grateful to be able to communicate with different employers. We are able to exchange opinions with different people from different industries regarding different topics. Therefore, it was a very fruitful experience for us.
Overall, We had a great time attending the event. We would like to sincerely thank Sunway Education Group for inviting us. We look forward to be back at the university for future employer projects.
