Welcoming a few Visitors from INTI
On the 14th of May, a few lecturers from INTI International College came and visited our collocation site, the CJ1 data center at Cyberjaya.
The CJ1 data center is a Tier III data center that is situated on the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) of Malaysia. It provides state of the art infrastructure, efficient energy management solutions and a dark fibre connection to Menara AIMS, which is another of our collocation data center.
They came to learn more about how the cloud works. A data specialist accompanied them throughout their tour, explaining to them about how everything is done, from the generators, cooling, to the data center floor itself.
What is a data center?
The cloud is accessible from anywhere in the world. It is always online 24/7. A data center is the central convergence point for all these data. It is often placed inside a building where racks and racks of servers combined to create what is known as a data center.
It was a pleasure to welcome INTI’s lecturers to our facilities. We hope the visit has benefited them, and that the knowledge will be put to good use in the education field.
